Toby and Crystal work at Faith Academy in Manila, Philippines, helping to educate the children of missionaries working in Southeast Asia. Toby first came to Faith Academy in 1994, with Crystal following in 1999. They met in the Philippines and married in 2001.

Crystal has taught several different classes in the high school math department during her tenure at Faith Academy, while Toby has taught mainly Chemistry, Advanced Placement Chemistry, and a Discipleship course. Toby has also had the opportunity to coach both the boys' and girls' varsity basketball teams during his years at Faith, and is currently the head boys' basketball coach.

Both Toby and Crystal greatly enjoy plugging into the lives of the students they work with, and have been excited about some of the work with a local orphanage and a squatter area that they have been able to be a part of.
