FEBC Disaster Updates: Urgent Prayer Still Needed...

Thursday October 1st, 2009

In spite of flood waters pouring into our shortwave installation building in Bocaue, Philippines, no permanent damage took place in our transmitters and we went back on the air today to millions throughout Asia.

However, there is a new typhoon bearing down on the Philippines right now, so please pray that it does not devastate those already in harms way.

Please be in prayer for the thousands affected by the Samoan earthquake and tsunami, as well as those struggling with the death and destruction caused by the 7.6 earthquake that struck the island of Sumatra, Indonesia on 9/29/09.

There is a typhoon headed for Saipan – which is one of our main transmitter sites - so please be in prayer for the safety for our staff and radio equipment that broadcasts to large areas of Russia, China, Indonesia, and Vietnam.

Thank you for your prayers! We rejoice in knowing that our transmitters in the Philippines are operational again and our staff is presently safe.

Along with the destruction of natural disasters, God opens doors into lives and hearts that were closed to Him. Pray that this is true for the millions of people affected by these disasters.

We will continue to update this site as information arrives.

May God Bless you for your prayers and have mercy on all those in danger.
