Kun Chan:
“My work for a government agency required me to live in a small village. In the evenings with nothing much to do, I spent my time drinking with friends. After a few years of going out every evening, I became bored, so I started listening to the radio.
“As I browsed through my shortwave, I was amazed to find a Mon-speaking broadcast called the Light of the Mon People. The messages held my interest, and I kept listening. But sometimes I didn’t understand all the broadcaster’s words, and had to ask my elderly neighbor for help. She seemed to know everything.
“Before long I began writing to FEBC. They helped me understand more, especially about Christ, and later led me to the Lord. Recently I found out that the lady who was translating for me is also very interested in the gospel and has moved near a church. I hope she will also come to know the Lord as her personal Lord and Savior.”
