Tuesday - 1 Nguon Song Radio (Spring of Life Radio) is FEBC Vietnam's voice of love, truth and hope. Pray for the ministry teams as they write and produce programs in Vietnamese and 18 tribal dialects broadcast from Manila and aired daily.

Wednesday - 2 Praise the Lord for the communication capabilities that computers have brought to oppressed countries like Vietnam. Many who listen to FEBC's Nguon Song Radio programs over the Internet are able to respond by e-mail without the threat of persecution. Pray that God will broaden the scope and audience of these broadcasts.

Thursday - 3 "Our church includes 2 tribal groups, and we also have Vietnamese services. I want to thank you for your radio outreach program throughout this past year. I always receive new strength from God when I listen and learn the lessons from your programs. May God continue to watch over you and bless your broadcasts so you will sow and reap His harvest abundantly." - Praise e-mailed from a Vietnamese listener

Friday - 4 Pray for FEBC programming for Vietnamese women. One listener e-mailed: "Dear Nguon Song Radio, I just want to thank you for sending me Bible study materials on Women of the Bible. I used them in our church's women's group and received much encouragement from them. Thank you for your concern. May God bless you abundantly as you continue to be effective for Him."

Saturday - 5 As they anticipate their 50th Anniversary celebration and prepare to move to a new location, FEBC-Korea faces a tremendous workload this year. They ask that we pray for "God's wisdom and strength, and ask Him to guide our dedicated staff as they embrace the new ministry challenges and opportunities He brings."

Sunday - 6 Praise God for the faithfulness of FEBC-Korea's team. They request prayer for FEBC-Jeju in developing an FM station and installing non-directional antennas to provide better reception in the southern coastal area. Also pray that FEBC-Yeondong will attain greater financial independence through local support, to meet their goal of increasing the number of Christians by 50%.

Monday - 7 FEBC-Seoul's Programming Department is preparing their spring schedule. Pray that God will empower them to produce quality broadcasts. Their PR Department is preparing to publish FEBC Korea's Anniversary Book. Pray that the team will work efficiently.

Tuesday - 8 Today marks the 44th anniversary of FEBCanada's incorporation in British Columbia as a non-profit, charitable organization! Praise God for the many faithful partners across Canada who have contributed to the ministry through prayer, finances, volunteering and missionary service.

Wednesday - 9 Pray that God will bless the FEBCanada team as they embark on this year's friendship dinner tours—to be held in over 90 locations across the country. Pray for Don and Berva Patterson, Klaus Tonn and Joseph Ko as they make final preparations, and for the registration volunteers who will make phone calls to encourage ministry partners to attend. Ask God to make these events effective and profitable for the support of the ministry.

Thursday - 10 FEBCanada's friendship dinner tour for the British Columbia Interior begins tonight in Cranbrook. Please pray for host and regional director Rev. Klaus Tonn, and for guest speaker Sionh, FEBCanada missionary and Khmu-language broadcaster. This dinner tour will conclude April 24 in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Friday - 11 Dick and Karen Chase, former FEBC-Korea missionaries, ask that we pray for South Korea's new president, Mr. Lee, a professing Christian, who was inaugurated in February. Also pray for the Chase family as Dick transitions into semi-retirement and takes on new responsibilities as an FEBC regional representative, and as they both balance their schedules while caring for Karen's elderly father in their home.

Saturday - 12 We received news from FEBC's Mon team that God answered their prayer for more airtime by providing a 30-minute slot in the evening as well as in the morning. Praise the Lord! They request prayer that the details will go smoothly and that the new schedule will work well for Mon listeners.

Sunday - 13 Our Mon team is praying for someone to help with radio programming, which they feel is the most important component of their ministry. Please ask God to provide a young person who is teachable and has His vision for the advancement of the gospel.

Monday - 14 Please pray for grace, wisdom and strength for director Samoeun as she leads the FEBCambodia ministry and team. Also pray for Pheary as she assists Samoeun in Finance, Administration and Communications. Pray especially for Pheary's adjustment as a part-time worker and for her plans for to go full-time in the future.

Tuesday - 15 A young factory worker recently called FEBCambodia to say that the programs encouraged him in times of trouble and discouragement in his work—and caused him to change many of his ways. He was referred to a nearby church, which gave him their last available Bible! He later called to say how happy he was to go to church. The staff says, "Thank the Lord for using radio to touch this young man. Pray that he will grow in his desire to seek God and learn from Him."

Wednesday - 16 Feba's Programming Consultant Tony Ford notes that India's economy is thriving and people can now afford mobile phones, computers, Internet access and modern entertainment. He says, "The resurgence of FM radio in major population centers and the continued growth of television means Feba-India faces many competitors for listeners' attention and must find new ways to reach people who have turned away from shortwave." Pray for wisdom and guidance for India's National Director C. A. Benjamin, and also for inspiration and creativity for Feba's program producers.

Thursday - 17 Please join us in praying for FEBC Russian Ministries' staff and production studios, located in La Mirada (CA), Ukraine, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Khabarovsk, and Novosibirsk under the direction of Rudi Wiens.

Friday - 18 Thank God for the dedicated and capable staff He has brought to FEBC-Japan... a country where only 0.4% of the population is Christian! Please pray for the team's 6 full-time and 5 part-time workers who work long hours daily, and for more personnel in the next couple of years. Pray that God will bless and encourage Director Keiko Yoshizaki and her staff, and that He will keep them healthy and strong.

Saturday - 19 Since a large number of ‘competing' non-profit organizations now exist in Japan, it's a challenge to raise the funds needed to support the radio ministry. Pray that God will bless FEBC-Japan's efforts to raise awareness and increase funding for their vital work.

Sunday - 20 Praise God for the 3,449 e-mails FEBC-Japan received from listeners in the past year... and for their commitment to answer all letters and e-mails personally! Pray for wisdom and compassion for the follow-up team as they respond to people struggling with issues related to the spiritual vacuum in Japanese society: mental disorders, isolation, suicidal tendencies, abuse, phobias and other problems. Pray also that God will supply more helpers to do this significant follow-up work.

Monday - 21 Praise the Lord for Custodio, who became Feba's National Director of Mozambique 18 months ago. Pray for Custodio's vision to expand Feba's local broadcasts and their message of love and hope: "My dream is to see Mozambique covered by Christian radio, especially in the north where there are many Muslims."

Tuesday - 22 Custodio has contacted a number of community stations around Mozambique and many have said that they would air Christian broadcasts. Pray God will bless his special goal of developing a quality studio in Niassa Province that could produce both gospel music and programs to distribute to these community stations.

Wednesday - 23 The Scripture Program, written for Yao young men, is aired on Fridays by Feba Radio. The Yao, a mainly Muslim people, live in Malawi, Tanzania, and Mozambique. Anton Meyer, Yao Project Coordinator, says, "We are competing for our listeners' attention and therefore need to be the best that we can and produce programs that will be listened to." Ask God to bless this program and to attract many listeners.

Thursday - 24 Praise and prayer requests from Hmong listeners: "We are out from under the hand of Satan because we have listened to your messages…we pray that FEBC will continue to send new messages to encourage our spiritual needs daily;" "Please pray for us to have the freedom to worship God;" "We heard God's word through FEBC...it encouraged us to keep our faith in the Lord."

Friday - 25 The majority of the Khmu people live in Laos; others are scattered through Thailand, Vietnam, China and Myanmar. Praise God for using FEBC programs to bring untold numbers of this language group to Christ! Pray for the key team leaders who oversee Khmu Christians—for safe travels, protection from temptation and interference by officials, and wisdom in counseling.

Saturday - 26 Please pray for the FEBC-Khmu programs that are aired 45 minutes daily, and for Sionh, Malee and Sivilay as they prepare the broadcasts and arrange for program distribution. Pray that God will give them wisdom, creativity and insight in all their efforts.

Sunday - 27 FEBC-Mongolia's WIND FM radio ministry has been a presence in the capital city of Ulaanbaatar for only 7 years, yet has consistently ranked among the city's top radio stations since its inception. Their holistic programming approach goes by the acronym WELL, which stands for Wisdom, Evangelism, Lifestyle and Leadership. Please pray for director Batjargal and his young staff of 30, who are mainly journalists, on-air personnel, and producers.

Monday - 28 The WIND FM team requests prayer for the completion of their facilities. Construction has been ongoing since a fire destroyed the original building in 2003. Pray for strength and guidance as the builders wrap up final details and the staff plans a dedication ceremony for the end of May.

Tuesday - 29 From FEBC-Mongolia: "We praise God for the many workers from Finland who have been involved with the construction of the new facilities since the beginning. They have volunteered many hours and contributed in many ways to this project. We give thanks to our God for them."

Wednesday - 30 "I'm 25 years old. I became disabled when I was two...and I've been in a wheelchair ever since. We have a large family of 10, and I was often overlooked—which eventually led me to life on the streets. I listened to the program Lifesaver last year and heard a pastor talk about loneliness. I called the station to share my life story but could not talk because I was weeping uncontrollably. My call was routed to the pastor, who later took me to his church... where I gave my heart to Christ! The most amazing thing is that ever since I began going to church my legs (which used to be numb) now have feeling—and I have moved from a wheelchair to crutches." Praise God for His miraculous grace and mercy in this Mongolian listener's life!
