The Problem
Large numbers of people in Russia, a former Communist country are impacted by drugs, alcohol,
depression, and AIDS.
The Request
In October 2006, we asked FEBC supporters to help with this important project. FEBC-Russia
has a significant ministry to these hurting people but needed additional funds to keep the
broadcasts on the air.
Praise
Our donors gave generously to support these programs! FEBC-Russia continues to have a huge impact, drawing many to their broadcasts, including a
Russian congressman who will soon be speaking on Choose Life, an AIDS awareness
program. Broadcaster Dr. Evgeny Sarapulov interviews HIV/AIDS experts on the air,
explains the dangers of the disease, and the root of the problem: man’s sinful nature.
As a results, lives are being invigorated with hope! Dear FEBC:
Your programs on HIV/AIDS are of such high quality. They are distributed
in many prisons here, and are especially appreciated in jails with underage
criminals. Because your material is professionally produced, prison
administrators see how helpful Christians can be. You are doing a very
important work!
