I Stopped Blaming the Lord

When I was 18, I had an accident at work that burned my right hand. I blamed God for my excruciating pain and stopped believing in Him.

I felt empty inside and began living a life of decadence.

A year later, a Christian coworker told me about FEBC’s broadcasts. I bought a radio, hoping to hear what God had to say about my suffering.

A Powerful Testimony

One of the broadcasts featured the testimony of someone who had been paralyzed in a car accident. It seemed to be a misfortune sent from heaven... but he didn't utter a word of complaint against the Lord.

Instead, he repeatedly thanked the Lord. When he was in the hospital, he went so far as to share Christ with his fellow patients!

I was so touched by this testimony that I had a change of heart. I stopped blaming the Lord and began to weep. If this man who had been paralyzed could express gratitude to the Lord, how much more thankful should I be?

I thanked the Lord that my face was not burned in the accident and that I hadn't lost my hand altogether. With God's help, I surrendered myself to Him.

Since then, I've listened to your programs every day, and have come to know the Lord more. I've started reading the Bible and attending church.
