"God Knows Your Heart"

"IT HAS TAKEN ME A LONG TIME to write this letter, and by the time you receive it, I may be in heaven.

I'm a 23-year-old woman and dreamed of becoming a program producer. However, I was recently diagnosed with the last stage of ovarian cancer.

When the doctor told me I had six more months to live, I didn't know what to do or say. At that time, I didn't practice any religion so I had nothing to soften my harden heart.

One day I took a taxi without any destination and heard FEBC's The Garden of Love program. The announcer said, "If you are going through difficult times or situations, you should thank God".

'Why should I thank God?' I thought, 'I'm dying, I'm worried, and I'm sick inside.' As I listened I began to both laugh and cry.

The taxi driver said, "God knows your heart, hold His hand!"

I never thought about God but when The Garden of Love program introduced God, I took my first step toward Him.

That week, I went to church for the first time, bought a Bible and read it through. I don't cry anymore but I'm asking God to give me more breath to live for Him.

I'm glad that I’ve come to know God through this sickness. It's been hard for me physically the past several months, but these have been the most beautiful days of my life.
