WE RECENTLY RECEIVED THIS LETTER FROM YOSSEP, one of our listeners in the city of Yogyarta, Indonesia. FEBC staff have been visiting the region, delivering food and medical supplies.  Praise the Lord! I have been saved from the disaster. The earthquake collapsed some of the houses near my home, and the walls in my house are full of cracks.
The rest of my family was Jakarta when the earthquake hit, so I was alone in my house at time, and I panicked at the thought that the earthquake would cause a tsunami. All of my neighbors left their homes and ran to higher ground. I have tried to find news about some of my friends; when I visited their homes their houses had collapsed. One of my friends passed away when he tried to save his grandmother. I am very sad about all that has happened. This is the biggest disaster of my life. It is so horrible! Many people, along with their children, just sit in the streets and ask for help. Would you please keep praying for us to overcome this disaster? I give up myself to the Lord.
