PASTORS AND CHURCH LEADERS TRIED TO SHARE CHRIST with Mr. L, but they knew very little of his language. Besides, his strong beliefs prevented them from successfully debating the tenets of Mr. L's faith. His wife had become a believer several years earlier, but he simply wasn’t interested in Christianity.

A pastor finally encouraged Mr. L to listen to the radio. Reluctantly, he tuned into FEBC’s broadcast called Temporal to Eternity. In the program, the teacher compares the beliefs of Mr. L’s widely accepted faith with the eternal values of Christianity. After listening for some time, Mr. L wrote to FEBC and asked for a Bible. He later gave his life to Christ!

Listener Becomes Church Leader

Mr. L recently became Pastor L, having graduated from a three-year seminary in Manila. He and his wife will soon be returning to their homeland, preparing to minister to their people.

When asked about his conversion to the Christian faith, Pastor L was quick to point out the effectiveness of radio. “It can travel to places where preachers cannot go and speak many languages.”

Please continue to pray that radio programs will be especially effective in proclaiming the gospel during this special Easter season and that lives will be transformed.
