much for your prayers!"

when I listen to Far East Broadcasting." - Praise from a listener
in South Korea

Mandarin broadcasts to China. Pray for the production team--they
need great wisdom and guidance as they present God's eternal

hearts of all who tune in so they may comprehend the truth of His
love for them and the hope found only in Christ.
Friday - 9
"I heard that there was a Gospel radio station...so I bought a
small radio, and started listening every night. I enjoy the
programs that answer listeners' questions. As I listen, I am
beginning to have a better understanding of who Jesus Christ is."
- Praise from a listener in China
Saturday - 10
Nearly 20 years ago FEBC began to develop a broadcast ministry
to China's minority groups -beginning with Debao, a Zhuang
minority dialect. Praise God that here are now seven 'heart'
languages on air, and that He has opened opportunities to work
with partner organizations in production and radio
distribution.
Sunday - 11
Pray for the challenges of accessing people groups in the
remote areas of China, and of finding the right minority language
speakers where there are so few believers. Pray especially for
the Yun Nan program, Love Never Fails, and for Grace
and Truth, which targets the Muslim Hui people group.
Monday - 12
From China: "I best like the segment when you talk about Yun
Nan minority customs. The gospel content is excellent for both
non-believers and new believers. Middle-aged adults in the
mountain area in particular like to listen."
Tuesday - 13
Christine Wratt, national manager of FEBC-New Zealand writes:
"Please pray for me as I travel to various parts of the country
to speak about the ministry... and to make contact with
supporters. Pray for safe travels."
Wednesday - 14

Kong team who operates from the FEBC-Australia offices in Sydney.

assists in program preparation and production.

healing for Larry, who was scheduled to undergo back surgery last
month.

Thank the Lord for FEBCanada's 46 years of ministry,
celebrated last April. They write: "Praise God for the faithful
ministry partners who have contributed to the worldwide work of
FEBC through prayer, finances, volunteering, and missionary
service."
Monday - 19
Thank God for FEBC's broadcasts to minority people groups
scattered across many countries and remote regions in South Asia.
After hearing a broadcast in their heart language, the elders of
one village exclaimed, "We're on the radio like all the other
nations!" More than 2/3rds of FEBC's current programming is aired
to local audiences in their own language; pray that God will
provide what is needed to keep minority
programming on the air.
Tuesday - 20
Pray for Sionh, FEBCanada's missionary and Khmu-language
broadcaster, and for his small but dedicated staff. He writes,
"Listeners' hunger for the Word of God touches me--it gives me
encouragement and energy to keep going."
Wednesday - 21
Praise God for this testimony from a Khmu listener in Laos:
"There is no other message that impacts me in the same way as
your message on radio did the other night. I was challenged to
the point of tears; your message corrected my thinking, and I
have now reversed a wrong decision..."
Thursday - 22
Pray for God's wisdom and clear guidance for the
FEBC-Indonesia team and their director Sammy T. as they strive to
proclaim the Good News to this island nation, which is
predominantly Muslim. Pray also for the effectiveness of the
Heartline Academy of Media, which offers training in radio
production.
Friday - 23
Praise God for using radio to teach and transform listeners in
Indonesia: "I've been listening to FEBC's language broadcasts for
several years and I've learned that there's only one way to the
Truth. I'm so grateful that someone extended a hand to teach me
about spiritual things."
Saturday - 24
Thank God for the director of FEBC-Thailand, who writes:
"Please pray for the small ministry team from our office here in
Bangkok who travel to visit with listeners in the southern part
of Thailand. Also pray for continued fruitful meetings with
survivors of the 2004 South Asia tsunami, who have come to faith
in Jesus Christ through the programs that we aired in the
area."

From Thailand: "I am lonely, sad, depressed, and without hope.
I have life each day, but not happiness. When I listen to This
Life Still Has an Answer, I feel very encouraged." Pray that
God will continue to draw listeners to FEBC's Thai programs, and
that He will greatly use each broadcast and outreach effort to
bring His help and hope to the lost and needy.
Monday - 26
Pray for wisdom for Frik Veldman, Feba's director in South
Africa as he and the team strategize the ministry's further
development. Ask God to bless the operation in South Africa,
which is considered another "support country, " and to enable it
to increase its involvement in global projects.
Tuesday - 27
Please pray for the 20th Baptist World Congress, to be held in
Honolulu July 28-August 1, and attended by 10,000 Baptists from
119 nations. Ask God to superintend each event, and that the
guests will be "freshly motivated to serve the Lord." Pray
especially for FEBC-Korea's 800 representatives, which includes
10 children's choir groups, staff and steering committees. Pray
for safety, health and renewal for all participants.
Wednesday - 28
Pray for Rudi Wiens, director of FEBC Russian Ministries (RM),
who left for Russia late last month for an extended trip. He
writes, "I plan to work in Russia, Germany and Kazakhstan; there
is much to be done in each of these places. In Germany we are
exploring the possibility of establishing a more effective
resource center for the ministry in the former USSR and
beyond."
Thursday - 29
The license needed for FEBC to broadcast within Kazakhstan has
been stalled for some time, due to much resistance and spiritual
opposition. Director Rudi Wiens writes, "Most Kazakhs are
cultural Muslims, and powerful Islamic groups want to prevent
FEBC from opening FM stations in large Kazakh cities...Kazakh
believers are in prayer for their country to become more open to
the Good News of Jesus Christ...Let us continue to fight--on our
knees!"
Friday - 30
Thank God that while RM waits for a license breakthrough, many
listeners are tuning in to shortwave, satellite, and Internet
broadcasts specifically tailored for Kazakhs: "We are new
Christians and your programs are of tremendous support to us. We
really appreciate the fact that they are not only for
Kazakhs...but also by Kazakhs. We love your hosts and pray
that God will bless FEBC with a new station here in
Kazakhstan."
Saturday - 31
Praise God that through several different programs designed
for young people, FEBC RM is bringing consistent, relevant
Christian teaching to those who once knew nothing about Jesus:
"Thank you for your programs that led me to the Lord. Please pray
for my boyfriend Igor who just started listening...and is now
going to church. Pray that he too will accept Jesus into his
heart." - From a young listener in Russia.
