Thank God for Makara, who joined FEBCambodia's team last
December as programming director. Besides developing program
content, Makara also plans to create a new 'sound' for the
station. He says, "We try to select topics that will help
society, but we don't want our listeners just to gain knowledge.
Our main goal is for their lives to be changed and for them to
know the one true God." Pray for wisdom and creativity for Makara
as he seeks to move forward in programming.
Wednesday - 2
FEBCambodia's Family FM recently began airing Heart and
Mind, a new program that explores mental and emotional health
problems. The host, Chandra, is concerned about the huge number
of people still suffering from the effects of genocide and war:
"This program is a gateway to let people know that we acknowledge
they have these issues. Pray that God will provide a group of
Christian workers interested in volunteering to be lay biblical
counselors." Also pray that many people will tune in and learn
about God's healing love.
Thursday - 3
"The Lord used your radio station to touch my life, and to
change me. Now I have chosen to follow Jesus Christ." Praise God
for this Cambodian listener's testimony!
Friday - 4
Praise God for Gil Suh, a Korean missionary who is leading a
Spiritual Transformation course for FEBCambodia's team. They
write: "Pray it will strengthen us in faith and maturity." Also
pray for God's protection over the staff; there have been many
occasions where their families have experienced attacks
spiritually, as well as in areas of relationships.
Saturday - 5
Mongolia is facing deepening socio-economic challenges with
approximately 35% of the population living under the poverty
line. Praise God that this year FEBC-Mongolia has witnessed the
drawing power of the Holy Spirit! Pray that He will continue to
bless their ministry and renew their goal to "proclaim the Gospel
not only in the city, but also on many secular and Buddhist radio
stations throughout Mongolia."
Sunday - 6
FEBC-Mongolia asks prayer for their rural outreach program.
Pray for wisdom for the personnel members responsible for this
endeavor, as well as for much needed finances and resources to
broaden this critical ministry.
Monday - 7
Pray that God will continue to impact the life of this Wind FM
listener in Mongolia: "I'm so very lonely. But having heard what
you shared, I'm feeling a bit of relief. Where is your station
located…I want to visit."
Tuesday - 8
Please pray for Jonathan Frank, chief executive of Feba-UK, as
he heads up the mission in Africa, Central Asia, the Indian
Subcontinent, and the Middle East…countries in which
persecution, poverty or oppression are often a daily fact of
life. Jonathan writes: "You may again thank God, as I do, for the
incredible freedom we have to worship openly…it is
humbling to think of those elsewhere who put their lives on the
line to follow Jesus, living out their faith under extreme
pressure."
Wednesday - 9
"Our life is difficult. May peace come to our country, because
we are being persecuted. Please keep in touch." - From a listener
in the Middle East
Thursday - 10
Thank the Lord for FEBC-USA's board, which will convene over
the next two days in La Mirada. Please pray that God will bless
each day's sessions, and that His Spirit will inspire and provide
counsel for every decision reached. This board meeting is
particularly important, as projections, plans and resources will
be set for the ministry's next fiscal year, which begins July 1.
Pray especially for president Gregg Harris, and chair Doug
Pennoyer.
Friday - 11
From Feba: "Support from FEBA South Africa is very important
for maintaining and developing Far East Broadcasting's
international ministry. We face a huge challenge as FEBA SA seeks
to take a stronger lead and take up more responsibility for
ministry projects in Africa. Pray that we will follow the Lord's
clear guidance and experience His faithful provision as we
utilize every opportunity to mobilize the Church for world
missions effectively."
Saturday - 12
Thank God for using radio to reach those who have no other
means of spiritual teaching or nurturing: "The nearest church in
our area is a seven-hour walk away. Your radio program is serving
as our pastor, and our church." -From a Feba listener in the Horn
of Africa
Sunday - 13
Please pray for Feba's work in Pakistan, and for director
Sammy T. and his dedicated program team. Pray for protection:
Sammy travels frequently to raise support, and the entire staff
is constantly aware of resistance from radical religious groups.
Also pray for God's wisdom and clear guidance as they plan
programming schedules, which will impact the lives of many
listeners who tune in daily.
Monday - 14
Pray that God will bless the effectiveness of Feba's Sindhi
shortwave programs that are transmitted into Pakistan. Pray that
the new follow-up initiative will help listeners apply the
messages to their lives. Also pray for new FM projects being
developed with local partners in an effort to produce
high-quality programs that will impact Pakistani listeners.
Tuesday - 15
Please pray for Feba's ministry in Mozambique as Bob Bartz,
member of their International Ministry Team, and other staff
focus on the large number of Muslims in the country's north
region. In the development process, they are moving away from
using Portuguese and Tsonga languages in programming; pray that
other partners will fill this gap. Also pray for the huge need
for Sena programs in the central parts of Mozambique.
Wednesday - 16
Thank the Lord for Feba's program Church in My Home,
which is broadcast in Afghanistan in the Pashto and Dari
languages. Pray for the producers of this drama series, which
offers a 'model' to help Christian listeners start and develop
house churches.
Thursday - 17
Today our monthly Day of Prayer will focus on the staff and
ministry of FEBC-Philippines, headed up by Dan Cura. Ask God to
bless all those involved in program production, as well as the
listeners who tune in. Also pray that He will continue to oversee
plans for the new station in the Cagayan Valley, scheduled to go
on air this year.
Friday - 18
General elections in the Philippines took place last month;
please pray that God will have an influence on the new leadership
and give them His compassion for the country's citizens; the
capitol of Manila has a burgeoning population, and urban poverty
is widespread. Thank the Lord that the Philippine government has
been supportive of FEBC in the past; pray that this relationship
will continue.
Saturday - 19
Thank God for Dan Cura, director of FEBC-Philippines, and for
all he does in leading the ministry. Dan attended an
international pastors' conference at Grace Community Church in
the LA area last spring; pray for plans underway for a similar
event at his church in Manila. Grace Community's pastor John
MacArthur's programs are aired in the Philippines and attract
many listeners.
Sunday - 20
From a Hmong listener in Vietnam: "I believe in God because of
your broadcasts. All the believers are strong and have faith
because the programs continue and they help us to grow in the
Lord. We praise God and thank you and FEBC for sending us the
Good News. Please pray for the safety of the believers. In some
parts of Vietnam…if we worship God we are attacked and
arrested; some believers are put in jail and some live in the
jungle with no place to stay. Pray that God will watch over the
believers."
Monday - 21
Pray for FEBC's Hmong programs and for our broadcasters
located both in the US and in Thailand. Ask God to inspire and
bless them as they write, produce and voice programs in the Hmong
language. A listener in Laos writes: "I want to let you know that
I accepted Jesus as my personal savior because of what I have
learned from your radio broadcasts…my life has been
changed. I know now that God is real and I have hope in Him. Pray
that I can tell others about God."
Tuesday - 22
Please pray for FEBC-Korea's Prayer Breakfast, to be held in
Seoul on the 23rd, commemorating the 60th Anniversary of the
Korean War. The honored speaker will be George W. Bush, 43rd
President of the United States. The team writes: "Please pray for
continuing peace between nations and for lasting peace on the
Korean Peninsula. May God guide the leaders of all nations to
make wise decisions."
Wednesday - 23
"Hallelujah! I praise and honor God for FEBC and would like to
thank and pay my respects to everyone working at the station. I
started listening in October 2009…I have been blessed and
strengthened by God's words and continue to rely on His strength
everyday. The Spirit moved me to give my monthly tithe to FEBC
and I send it in hopes of spreading a little hope and supporting
God's work all over the world." - From a listener in
Korea.
Thursday - 24
Thank the Lord for the 10-year anniversary of Singapore's FM
station Voice of Grace, and for Far East Broadcasting's

Ministries. Pray for protection for those traveling.
Friday - 25
Praise God that FEBC-Jeju will celebrate their 37th
anniversary on June 30th! In honor of the occasion, they will
present a variety of seminars, a concert, and a special service
of thanksgiving. They write: "Please pray that by His grace, the
event will be a success in thanking and congratulating all those
who have prayed for FEBC-Jeju. Please also pray for 'WIN20'
vision, our mission to bring Jeju's evangelization rate up to
20%."
Saturday - 26
Thank the Lord for FEBC Russian Ministries' key in-country

respective capacities. Also pray for their safety, and for their
families.

Jesus into their hearts through her program called Morning of
Life. Also pray that God will bless her as she fulfills her
many other responsibilities in the La Mirada office.
Monday - 28
Pray for FEBC's radio programs to China, which are produced at
five different locations: Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan
and the United States. Thank the Lord for Edwin Tsang, director
of FEBCanada's Chinese ministries, and for his team in British
Columbia and Ontario, where programs are produced for China and
for local broadcasts in Vancouver.
Tuesday - 29
Praise God for FEBC Chinese Ministries' Liangyou Bible
Seminary, which now has an enrollment of 9,000 listeners! Ask
God to use the two-year curriculum to nurture and prepare
listeners for potential involvement in ministry in the
future.
Wednesday - 30
"I live in China. I become a Christian 7-8 years ago through
your broadcasts. Now I am a leader in the church; please pray I
will have strength from the Lord to continue to serve Him more.
Also please pray that the believers in China will be salt and
light to the non-believers so when they see us they will know
that our life has been transformed from the darkness. Pray they
will see the peace and happiness that we have in
Jesus."
