Monday - 1

Thank the Lord for director Sammy T. and his team at FEBC-Indonesia, who prepare and produce programs in 11 different languages. Pray for the effectiveness of each of the programs, which are broadcast into this predominantly Muslim nation from shortwave stations in Saipan and the Philippines. Pray that God will use them to bring many listeners to Himself.

Tuesday - 2

Pray that God will continue to draw this and other listeners in Indonesia: "Thank you for the many positive things that I gain daily from your broadcasts-it's like food to me."

Wednesday - 3

Praise God for FEBC-Indonesia's Heartline Academy of Media (HADIA), a training center for their radio network. Pray for HADIA'S vision "to equip future broadcasters with the skill and knowledge needed to broadcast the Good News effectively in this diversity of religions, social and tribal groups." Pray also for those who need the radio courses but lack the necessary funding.

Thursday - 4

In the framework of staff reshuffle and the opening of new radio stations, FEBC-Indonesia needs more human resources. They write: "Please pray that God will provide the right people to fill these positions. Also pray for the accounting networking system that will be synchronized with the new radio stations."

Friday - 5

From FEBC-Mongolia: "Pray for our newly launched 'church' of listeners; pray that they may grow further in faith. Also pray for our volunteers. Ask God to encourage them so they will not lose heart during this exciting and challenging new endeavor of caring for our audience."

Saturday - 6

Mongolia's programming team needs to expand its capacity with additional programming staff. They ask that we pray "for our plans to strategically place two area reps in order to expand our syndication reach into East and West Mongolia." Ask God to supply new programmers and the necessary support.

Sunday - 7

From FEBCambodia's recent prayer bulletin: "As we look forward with expectation to the coming year, there are many people in Cambodia who have little to look forward to: those made homeless by natural disasters or land reclamation; victims of domestic violence; the mentally ill; and countless others. Please pray that God will reach such people with His message of hope, through the church and through radio, in this coming year."

Monday - 8

From Sauron, a Cambodian listener, "The Lord used Family FM to touch my life and change me…now I have chosen to follow Jesus." Praise God for transforming Sauron, who is now a church leader! The team writes, "Please pray that many more souls will be won for His Kingdom and that believers will be encouraged and built up through the broadcasts."

Tuesday - 9

FEBCambodia has recently undergone a restructuring of program department roles. Pray that all these team members "will know God's enabling and

fulfillment in their new roles": Meth Kong, part-time short wave coordinator; Yeoun Mao, who will move to Christian programming and also help with audience relations; Roun Keo, full-time IT technician and librarian; and Pagnan Kong, now in program presenting and production.

Wednesday - 10

Thank God for missionary Jon Tan, who is in the process of researching equipment to upgrade FEBCambodia's studio and broadcast facilities. They write, "Ask God to give him good judgment as he considers the various options and weighs cost versus value to the ministry."

Thursday - 11

Please continue to pray for FEBC's Vietnamese Ministry, and especially for Tri (pronounced Tree), who assumed the role of director January 1. Pray for wisdom, strength and stamina for the whole team, and especially for clear guidance in new projects that are being considered to promote communication of the gospel to cell phone users in Vietnam.

Friday - 12

Praise from listener in Vietnam: "My family and I are Christians and we frequently listen to your programs. We also use the resources from the website to share in our cell group. I personally enjoy all of your broadcasts because they offer a balanced presentation of programs, which are both educational and biblical. Thanks again to you and your staff. May God bless you all."

Saturday - 13

Thank the Lord for Keiko, FEBC-Japan's director, and for her dedicated staff. Pray that He will continue to give His strength and discernment in the production, hosting and voicing of their programming, and bless the distribution of their outreach package. Pray that He will use these packages, consisting of a Bible and CD, to effectively reach the lost as well as encourage believers in the midst of challenging circumstances.

Sunday - 14

"I am sure there must be thousands of people in agony and hardships who have been uplifted by your programs. I just want to let you know how influential and important your ministry is to us." - Praise from a listener in Japan

Monday - 15

Praise God for Mehm and Ruth, FEBC's missionaries to the Mon, a people group of Southeast Asia who are known to be resistant to the gospel. Pray that He will continue to strengthen, uphold, and encourage them in their work, and that He will raise up new leaders who share their burden and vision for the Mon. Pray too for their daughter Jenny, who is living and working in New York and is greatly missed by her parents.

Tuesday - 16

Thank the Lord for this testimony from an FEBC Mon listener in prison: "My eyes were opened, and now I understand about the grace of God." Pray He will open the eyes of many more inmates through FEBC's broadcasts and outreach.

Wednesday - 17

Please continue to pray for FEBCanada's missionary Sionh and his staff and family as they minister to the Khmu people. Pray that God will expand the reach of their programming into the different regions and villages where the Khmu are found, and that He will protect and bless them as they conduct various outreach efforts and seminars.

Thursday - 18

Today is FEBC's monthly Day of Prayer. Please pray for our missionaries and their families as they serve the Lord in a variety of cultures and countries. Pray for His protection and guidance, and that they will lean on His sufficient grace in all they do.

Friday - 19

Praise God for the tremendous impact that FEBC's minority language broadcasts has on listeners when they hear the gospel in their mother tongue. One writes: "The very first time I started tuning in, I was very proud to know that someone was airing a program using our native language. Not very long after I began listening I accepted Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior…just as your program guided me to!"

 Saturday - 20

Praise God for carrying FEBC through a financially challenging year. We are so grateful for the support of our faithful intercessors, and for all the prayers offered on behalf of the ministry! Please continue to pray that God will increase and expand FEBC's effectiveness in reaching the lost through radio…and through whatever other means of communication He sees fit to use.

Sunday - 21

The 2010 broadcast theme for FEBC Chinese ministries is "Walk in Love." The Hong Kong team writes, "We would like to extend a warm and caring hand to our listeners and try to walk with them through life's ups and downs. We would also like to invite more prayer warriors to walk with us in love…and to pray earnestly for the Gospel Broadcast ministry and for the healthy growth of churches in China."

Monday - 22

"Since there is no church in my area, several believers gather in a small household to worship. During these Sunday morning services, we listen to your program called Worship of the Air. Afterwards, we watch videos on witnessing or family life. We also talk about our spiritual lives. Thank you for your broadcasts!" - Praise from an FEBC Internet listener in China

Tuesday - 23

FEBC Chinese Ministries' Voice of Friendship Seminary is developing a plan to reform its courses in order to better equip its students, and has also established a counseling department to handle cases referred by their program production teams. Please pray that both of these 'ministry renewal' efforts will enable them to "serve God and our audience more efficiently and effectively."

Wednesday - 24

Pray for the national director of Feba Pakistan and for his staff as they "plan their program schedule and coordinate the budgets." Ask God to provide the necessary ministry funds. Also pray that the new follow-up initiatives for the Sindhi short wave programs will help listeners apply the messages to their lives.

Thursday - 25

Thank God for Feba Pakistan's long-running series, Zindagi Kay Sung (Along with Life). Pray that a fresh emphasis on effectiveness will prove beneficial to content and follow-up. Also pray that the Next Steps programs will meet the needs of those Along with Life listeners who are "seeking to know more about spiritual things and a deeper study of God's Word."

 Friday - 26

Please pray for health, spiritual strength and wisdom for the director of FEBC-Myanmar (Burma) and his colleagues as they strive to proclaim the gospel to a devout Buddhist audience. Also pray that God will bless and protect team members who conduct follow-up visits with new believers in this militaristic nation.

Saturday - 27

Thank the Lord for FEBC-Korea's local station and staff in Yeongdong, which is strategically located in the midst of a city where shaman and fortune-teller shops are plentiful. Pray for the ministry's outreach, and that the broadcasts will clearly and effectively proclaim the One True God to listeners who are steeped in superstition.

Sunday - 28

From Korea: "Thank you for the great programs! I feel so calm and blessed when I listen to FEBC…I am the first believer in my family and I pray that I can share this faith with my dear son. I want to consider myself a missionary wherever I am or whatever I do. I won't stop trying to spread His words to the world; I figure this is my purpose in life!"

Monday - 29

Praise the Lord for Alexey Vlasihin, FEBC manager in St. Petersburg, and Denis Kozlov, programmer. Pray that God will continue to bless their work and families, and give them His wisdom in program planning and production. Pray that He will greatly use them to touch and transform many Russian listeners.

Tuesday - 30

Please pray for Tatiana Vaganova, an FEBC Russian Ministries programmer in Moscow. Many young people who tune in to her broadcasts also call the studio to ask questions about Christianity. Pray that God will give Tatiana discernment and sensitivity in her work, and will greatly use her to bring many young listeners to the Lord…and into local churches.

Wednesday- 31

"I am 28 years old, and I recently began listening to your station. I quickly became dependent on the programs. I listen to your broadcasts, and I see how God is transforming me from the inside. I pray to Him, I share my problems and joy with Him, and I actually feel His love and care. I treat others differently as well. It is exciting to see how God is changing me, even though I know very little about Him." - Praise God for this remarkable testimony from a young woman who is truly being "transformed by the renewing of her mind!"
