Praise God that FEBC's Chinese Ministries based in
Chino, CA will celebrate 20 years of broadcasting this
month! Also thank Him for a successful year of broadcasting
the Voice of Friendship program to Los Angeles
listeners on stations AM1300 and AM1600. Director
Eduardo Lo comments: "It has become a well-loved
program by many in less than a year, receiving good
comments."
Friday - 2
"I am taking classes through Voice of Friendship
Seminary. I thank God for the opportunity to be trained
by VOFS. I want my brothers and sisters to truly know
the Father, grow to maturity in Christ, and stand firm
against temptation." - One of 45,000 listener letters
sent to VOFS last year!
Saturday - 3
This year's theme for FEBC Chinese Ministries' Liang
You station is "Surmounting Summits," based on Micah
4:2--"Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord...
He will teach us His ways." In recognition of the 2008
Beijing Olympics, the ministry hopes to fulfill the
challenge of "reaching peak performance and interacting
with listeners in mutual encouragement." Pray God
will bless these goals with His enabling!
Sunday - 4
Pray for FEBC Chinese Ministries' emphasis on their
Internet ministry this year, which is unique because it
offers an audio delivery of the messages. Pray that God
will provide the additional funding needed to continue
this form of communication, which expands the reach
of radio broadcasting.
Monday - 5
The Korean Women's Choir of FEBC-Mokpo will
minister in Mongolia this month. Pray that God will
watch over and bless all the participants, and that they
will touch many people's hearts.
Tuesday - 6
Praise from Korea: "FEBC is a special friend to me. I
became bankrupt 10 years ago and my friends deserted
me. One day while driving I tuned in to FEBC. I began to cry and couldn't stop. I clearly
felt God's compassion and calling. He showed me
grace and love through FEBC. After that I decided to
accept the Lord. To this day I am still following and
have not strayed from Him."
Wednesday - 7
FEBC-Mokpo is planning to replace their old transmitter
to improve reception. Pray that all procedures will go
smoothly. Also pray that God will enable the Mokpo
Steering Committee and related organizations to
support the ministry faithfully and effectively.
Thursday - 8

days in La Mirada. Please pray for God's special anointing
on their time together, and for His clear direction on the
many issues and projects being considered.
Friday - 9
Pray for the ministry and staff of FEBC-Indonesia. Pray
especially for Mr. Samuel (President/Director) and Mr.
Habil (Vice President) as they fulfill their tasks and
responsibilities. Ask God to give them His wisdom and
discernment in every decision.
Saturday - 10
"As a newly married couple, we feel the need to learn
to love one another more to make our marriage last. We
have benefited from the practical and effective guidance
of the In Touch broadcast...from day to day we have
observed many changes in our personalities and
characteristics." Pray that God will strengthen the
marriages of many more Indonesian couples through
FEBC programming and outreaches.
Sunday - 11

Pray for the instructors and students, and that the training
programs will function smoothly and effectively.
Tuesday - 13
Please pray for Saipan missionaries Steve and Sheila
Myers, and their sons Micah (16), Caleb (15) and Gabe
(13)--one of 7 FEBC missionary families who live and
work together on this tropical island. They ask that we
pray for "everyone's health; relationships; the need for
more missionary workers; and for the fruitfulness of
the broadcasts." Pray especially for Steve and Sheila's
health; they have both suffered a great deal of chronic
pain as a result of injuries sustained 10 years ago in a
car accident.
Wednesday - 14
Saipan's economy is continuing to spiral downward.
Since the U.S. government increased the minimum
wage there, virtually all of the garment factories have
had to close their doors. Tourism is also down and
many businesses have closed or filed for bankruptcy.
The cost of living has increased almost 30%, which
makes it very difficult for missionaries to make ends
meet. Please pray that God will provide for each of the
7 families' financial, physical and spiritual needs in this
difficult environment.
Thursday - 15
Please pray for the
staff and ministries of FEBC-Japan, led by Keiko
Yoshizaki, and for FEBC-Korea, under the direction
of Dr. Billy Kim. Pray especially for the 4 new programs
launched by Japan in April, and for Korea's 2 new
stations.
Friday - 16
Pray for Dan and Lisa Kimball, FEBC-Saipan
missionaries, and their children Grace and Andrew.
Dan requests prayer for his major project this year
of painting the buildings; please pray for good
weather and safety for the crew. Pray for friends
for the kids, as many families are leaving Saipan
this year. Also pray they will "remain focused on the
Lord and listen to His voice in all aspects of our lives."
Saturday - 17
Praise from Russian listener: "I began listening
to FEBC three years ago. Before, I never thought
about God. You opened up an entirely new world
for me. I began thinking about God--then started
praying. You inspired me to seek God's will for my
life, to get to know Him. Today I am a member of
a great church in Russia. Thank you! I am a child
of God because of FEBC."
Sunday - 18
Russian pastor Vasily from Astrahan writes: "Dear
friends, thank you for your wonderful broadcasts
that help me preach the gospel to Muslims. Many
of them came to our church and accepted Jesus.
Pray that God will give me wisdom and patience in
my work." Pray also for the many Muslim Tatars,
Chechens, and Kazakhs who live in the city of
Astrahan.
Monday - 19
Praise God for Ludmila, FEBC-Russia's
children's program producer. Please pray that He
will give her continued strength and inspiration in
all she does for Him. Also pray for all the Russian
children who listen to her programs; ask God to
move these young listeners to ask Jesus into their
hearts.
Tuesday - 20
"Our family came to the Lord because of your
amazing broadcasts. Thank you! Our daughters
(10 and 16) love your programs and listen to you
with their non-believing friends. Please pray their
friends will accept Jesus as their Savior." - From
Russian family in Moldova
Wednesday - 21
FEBCambodia requests prayer for director
Samoeun as she leads the team; ask God to give
her grace, wisdom and strength each day. Also
pray for Pheary, who assists Samoeun in Finance
Administration and Communications and is new to
the staff this year. Praise God for 6 years of broadcasting
over 16 hours of daily programming.
Thursday - 22
From a listener in Cambodia: "I have been listening
to your station every day for about 2 years. Your
programs have encouraged me in times of trouble."
Pray that many more listeners will tune in and find
comfort and help from FEBC's broadcasts--and that
God will use them to draw many to Himself.
Friday - 23
Pray for Arleen Cena, missionary to Cambodia, and
her work in setting up HR processes, such as staff
appraisals and benefits, for FEBCambodia. Also
pray for safety as she walks home from the office
everyday and has to cross a very busy road.
Saturday - 24
Pray for FEBC-Mongolia's director Batjargal
Tuvshintsengel and his team as they continue to
pursue the challenge of reaching the far-flung--and
sparse--population of this vast nation for Christ.
About 1.5 million people live in the capital city of
Ulaanbaatar; most of the remaining 1.5 million are
nomadic and scattered across the country's rugged
terrain.
Sunday - 25
Australian missionaries Larry and Barbara Podmore
are planning to relocate to Mongolia after nearly
18 years of service at FEBC-Philippines. Pray for
Larry as he assumes a leadership role in the ministry
of FEBC-Mongolia. Also pray for their transition
into a completely new culture, climate and work
environment.
Monday - 26
Pray for the dedication ceremonies planned today
for the new home of WIND-FM in Ulaanbaatar,

resources for completion of the building, which has
been under construction since the former location
was destroyed by fire in 2003.
Tuesday - 27
Please pray for physical and spiritual strength for
Min-Pen Phillip Chen, executive director of FEBCTaiwan,
and for his team. Also ask God to supply
sufficient resources for the ministry, especially for
the increasing electrical expenses.
Wednesday- 28
Pray for FEBC-Taiwan's program director Garth
Liu, who is writing a broadcasting play featuring
the story of Eric Liddell in honor of the upcoming
Olympics in Beijing. The play, titled "Run Toward
the Gold Medal," is scheduled for broadcast this
month. Pray that God will use the play in the lives
of listeners.
Thursday - 29
Praise God that Feba's Tibetan language program,
Gaweylon (Good News), has been on the air for
18 years. In many parts of Tibet, the broadcast is
known as the Yeshu (Jesus) program! Pray that God
will continue to bless both the producers and audience,
and that it will bear much fruit in the hearts and
lives of those who tune in.
Friday - 30
Pray that the Lord will guide Dan Cura, director
of FEBC-Philippines, and his staff, especially as
they continue to develop plans for their anniversary
celebration and outreach next month in Manila.
Also pray for God's wisdom and timing for several
ongoing projects, including the new Cagayan Valley
radio station, and the transmitter replacement
initiative at DXKI.
Saturday - 31
"I've been listening to your station for some time
now. I want to be a true Christian in word and
deed--can you pray for me?" Pray that the Filipino
listeners who tune in to FEBC programming will
experience growth in God's grace and in their daily
walk with Jesus.
