Monday - 1
FEBC-Ulsan (Korea) request prayer for their Bible reading seminar this week at Kangnam Church. Pray too the "Evangelism Expos" they are conducting at local churches. Pray the expos will help promote Ulsan's "Wake Up 1020" movement, is designed to increase the number of Christians in the province by 20%. Tuesday - 2
"I decided to return to church because of a listener testimony I heard by chance on the Green Pasture program. I stopped attending 20 years ago when I was deeply hurt by someone in the congregation. I left God at the same time. The listener asked if God could forgive and free her from guilt... her story really touched my heart and I felt that God has been waiting all these years for me." – listener in Seoul, Korea
Wednesday - 3
The Children's Choir from FEBC-Seoul will tour the US and Canada September 1-26. Please pray for safe travels, strength and health for the children and their leaders, and that each concert will honor God and be a blessing to the audience.
Thursday - 4
Please pray for Jae-Suk , an FEBC-Mokpo engineer who is battling cancer. Ask God to carry him through this time of sickness, heal his body and restore him to health.
Friday - 5
Roger Bellamy, chairman of the Feba-UK Board, reports their strategic planning group has been working with Director John Bartlett to develop Feba's five-year ministry plan, which will commence October 1. Pray for continued wisdom and direction for the board as they implement the plan and proceed to the next stage of determining the future God has planned for them.
Saturday - 6
Three teams produce the Specialized English (SE) Spotlight programs: Feba (UK), Words of Hope and Back to God Ministries International (US). The SE producers recently met in Chicago to hear various speakers, review program strategy, and attend a radio voicing class. Pray for the team as they produce the new Spotlight programs. Also pray that God will continue to use these broadcasts to attract many new listeners.

Monday - 8
Feba requests prayer for Zimbabwe; reports of violence and difficulty finding food and basic necessities continue to increase. Please also pray for the health of Feba's staff in the region... medical services have been virtually non-existent and the even the most basic of services are scarce.
Tuesday - 9
Praise God for blessing FEBC-Philippines' 60th anniversary celebrations, which concluded with a worship concert attended by 2500 guests. The worship team from Christian Assembly Church in Los Angeles, was accompanied by the church's mission team, which conducted a weeklong outreach in Manila. Thank the Lord for shining His light in many hearts for the first time through these events; pray that He will continue to draw those still trapped in the cycle of poverty to the Savior.
Wednesday - 10
Pray for these personnel needs of FEBC-Philippines' regional stations: a technical operator for DZFE; a programmer for DYVS; and a bookkeeper/secretary for DWAS Legaspi and DYFR Cebu.
Thursday - 11
Please pray for FEBC-Philippines missionaries Cecil and Mar Amog, who completed their second term in Bicol last month and are now on furlough. Cecil had minor surgery in July; please pray God will strengthen her and protect her health. Also pray for financial provisions for their furlough, and for clear future direction.
Friday - 12 From the Philippines: "I thank God that many people have been blessed by listening to your broadcasts. May you continue to grow, and bring more souls to the Lord."
Saturday - 13
Praise God for providing equipment for Cagayan Valley's mobile studio (Philippines). Thank Him also for the programs already: Bata Man Kami, a children's program in Ibanag; Kakampi Mo Ako (I'm on Your Side), in Itawit; and ten original songs in Kalanguya. Project managers Emmanuel and Miriam Perez also thank God that 46 programs have been recorded! Please pray for the continued funding of this project, and also ask God to raise up local supporters.
Sunday - 14
Please pray for FEBC former board chair Robert Fortner, who launched a new non-profit called Media Research Institute. The institute conducts research in different regions of the world to determine what type of technology is most effective in reaching an area's particular audiences (i.e. radio, television, internet). Extensive and sometimes risky studies have been conducted in Africa and Indonesia; pray for grace and wisdom as the results are processed, and ask God to mightily use these efforts for His Kingdom.
Monday - 15
Praise from an African listener: "I'm single and live in a remote area. I have only one friend—your radio station, where your announcer visits me every night for 30 minutes. May God bless you!"
Tuesday - 16
Praise God for FEBCanada's successful Friendship Dinner tour last spring. Those attending responded positively to the radio ministry in Russia, Mongolia and among the Khmu tribes people in Laos. Please pray for Don and Berva Patterson, Klaus Tonn, and Joseph Ko as they prepare for the upcoming fall tours.
Wednesday - 17
Please pray Edwin Tsang, FEBCanada's Chinese Ministries' director and his staff as they produce programs in Mandarin and Cantonese for broadcast to China (and locally to Vancouver). Also pray for the production of Bible seminars on DVD, which are used for FEBC-Hong Kong's Voice of Friendship Seminary series.
Thursday - 18
Today is our monthly Day of Prayer. Please pray for the management teams of FEBC and Feba. Pray especially for Gregg Harris, president of FEBC-USA, as he will be a featured guest today on a Christian radio talk program in Portland, OR.
Friday - 19
FEBC-Hong Kong will be relocating to its new home this fall. Pray that the renovation will be completed on time, and that God will supply the remaining financial resources needed. Pray also that the details of the move will go smoothly.
Saturday - 20
Pray for five new programs for China that went on the air last spring: Life Lessons, English World, Shepherd Boy, i-Radio, and Oh! Don't Give Up. Pray that God will use these programs to effectively reach out to various audiences in China, and that many will to tune in.
Sunday - 21
Praise the Lord for Luke Cheng, FEBC's vice president of international ministries. Pray for wisdom, discernment and safety as he visits various fields to assess and implement ministry objectives. Also pray for his wife Carrie and their two daughters while he is traveling. Carrie works in the Ministry Services department in the La Mirada office.
Monday - 22
"I listen to your programs... they are helping me to know the Word of God, and are keeping me strong in the Lord. I praise the Lord that He loves us so much and saves us through FEBC. I pray every day that God will provide FEBC with the money needed to continue to send the good news to us and to also reach millions of Hmong with the gospel. Pray for us, so we can witness to others about Christ." - Hmong listener in Vietnam
Tuesday - 23
This last year has been one of great change for FEBC-New Zealand and the people involved with this support office. The team asks that we pray for board members as they seek God's will and plan new directions for the ministry: "Pray for wisdom, that the board will fulfill, to the best of their abilities, the governance and leadership roles within the organization and have Godly foresight in laying strategic plans for the future."
Wednesday - 24
Pray for Kevyn Harris, former director of FEBC-New Zealand, who recently resigned to assume a pastoral position at a local church. Please also pray for Tony Arcus, who has taken on more responsibilities in the daily operations of this support ministry, and for Christine Wratt in her new full-time role as administrator and board staff representative.
Thursday - 25
Tony Arcus of FEBC-New Zealand asks that we pray that God will supply them with Information Technology staff. Also ask Him to bring someone suitable to continue the work of producing the newsletter and prayer target... formerly handled by Bridget Evans, who left in August. Pray for Bridget's future direction.
Friday - 26
Praise God for the successful completion of FEBCambodia's pilot project in the village of Phum Kraol. The quality of family life has greatly improved as a result of the project. Pray that God will raise up an experienced and commited person to become the Project Leader and expand development work in this village.
Saturday - 27
Pray for health and healing for Robledo, husband of the director of FEBCambodia. During a recent checkup, a small cyst was discovered near his brain stem, which will require a 28-day course of radiotherapy scheduled to begin this month. Pray for wisdom for the specialists, and ask God to uphold Robledo and his family with His grace and peace.
Sunday - 28
Our long-time friend and retired co-worker Nelson Banez lost his wife Eden to cancer in July. The Banez family has suffered much loss in the last couple of years... their strength and joy in the midst of great trial has been a testimony to the presence of God's amazing grace in their lives. Please pray for Nelson and his family as they journey through the valley once again.
Monday - 29
FEBC Russian Ministries is striving to place a greater emphasis on reaching teenagers. Pray for this endeavor, and for the producers and programmers involved in this effort to attract younger listeners. One mother in Russia writes: "My daughter repented of her sins, and accepted Jesus into her heart during your program for young people. Thank you friends!"
Tuesday - 30
Please pray for Olga Denisova, host of a teen program aired on Russia's St. Petersburg station. Also pray that the countless teenagers who receive Christ as their Savior through FEBC programs will receive the knowledge and spiritual nourishment they need to grow in their walk with Him.
