Over the next few weeks, we will be highlighting FEBC Ukraine staff members, detailing how you can support them through prayer.

Please join us in praying for Igor, FEBC Ukraine’s Assistant Program Director and broadcaster. Igor, a youth pastor in a church in Kyiv, has been very successful in reaching young people with the Gospel on platforms like TikTok.

After getting his wife and young daughters to safety, he has remained in western Ukraine, ministering to people, many of whom are refugees and had to leave their homes.

Igor has traveled around the city of Lviv, sharing Christ with people on the street, in churches, at train stations—even on a bus that was about to leave.

“I’ve never seen people so open to the Gospel!” said Igor.

“Please pray for my family. For housing and a work opportunity for my wife, Emma, and for childcare and schooling for my daughters.”

Please also pray for Igor as he:

  • Ministers to young people, online and in person. During one online meeting, several dozen young people gave their lives to the Lord at one time.
  • Evangelizes to people in-person, and online at FEBC Ukraine’s new headquarters in Chernivtsi.
  • Encourages and supports his fellow broadcasters, helping them handle the many technical issues that can arise in this chaotic environment.

  3. Such bravery- not only staying in the war-torn area, but boldly speaking to people on the street! May you and your family be blessed with safety, a job, and schools. May God hold you in the hollow of his hand.

  4. Praying from the UK that you will find strength in your time of need, that you will know the power of the Almighty undergirding you in all you do, that you will know the peace that passes understanding and Romans 15 v 13 “ May the God of Hope fill you with all Joy and Peace as you trust in Him so that you may overflow with Hope by the power if the Holy Spirit”

  5. You blessed people. I offer for you a prayer from the Anglican prayer book.

Lord, imbue thy ministers with righteousness and make thy chosen people joyful. Give peace in our time oh Lord and evermore mightily defend us. Amen.

Your courage and faithfulness humbles me as it also inspires. It helps to remember that His Word will not return unto Him void. You will have a harvest indeed.
