Over the next few weeks, we will be highlighting FEBC Ukraine staff members, detailing how you can support them through prayer.
Here is an update about our prayer helpline counselors:
For FEBC Ukraine’s prayer helpline counselors, this Easter season is one that has been filled with both suffering and joy.
Listeners who have experienced tragedy and are living in fear, call with terrible stories, asking for prayer. What is incredible is that they are finding hope and encouragement as they turn to Jesus, many of them for the first time.
One caller asked for prayer when his young daughter and her grandmother were shot at while evacuating. His daughter was seriously injured and had to undergo several operations.
“She was in so much pain, and the morphine did not help,” he said.
As counselors prayed with him, he thanked God that his daughter was now recovering well and began praying for the salvation of many of his family members.
Another caller, a mother of two, shared, “I can’t handle this anymore. We can hear the fighting just a few kilometers away.”
She told counselors that she tried to distract herself and her children from the war, but that it was impossible. “The sirens were blaring so loudly today, it was unbearable.”
After talking and praying with the counselors further, this mother decided to put her faith in Jesus during this call.
Please pray for FEBC Ukraine’s prayer helpline counselors as they help callers find comfort, hope, and new life in Jesus Christ.
This is a time of great emotional upheaval for the counselors as well. Please pray that God encourages and strengthens them emotionally and spiritually, and that He protects them and their families in this dangerous time.
Pictured below are several of our FEBC Ukraine broadcasters (you may recognize several of them), along with some of our volunteer helpline counselors.

Thank you Heavenly Father for these faithful servants who are bringing hope to the Ukrainian people in the midst of this conflict. Be their mighty strength and encouragement as the minister to others. Please keep each of them safe as well as their families. Let these words from Psalm 91 be made real to them.
“Because you have made the LORD your dwelling place— the Most High, who is my refuge — no evil shall be allowed to befall you, no plague come near your tent.” Ps 91:9-10
Amen

Thank you Darrell and Judy.
Amen Darrel and Judy.
I just heard about your wonderful ministry today on faith radio, mornings with Carmen. I prayed along with her as she prayed with the broadcaster in Ukraine. I signed up with my email for prayer requests. Our Lord moves when we pray. God bless each one helping, needing prayer, counselors. I will share this with my fellow prayer warriors

We are so grateful for the countless people like you, Frances, who continue to lift up our Ukrainian staff to the Lord. Thank you.
I just read over these situations and prayer requests and prayed. God bless all of these brave individuals and may God supernaturally enable them to point hurting people to Jesus in saving faith!

Thank you, Joyce.
Thank God if we are outside the kingdom of God and our world and religion no longer give us false assurance.
I’ve been writing an Oddesian, Ludmila, since May. Only since the Invasion has she initiated anything of God, namely praying. She also mentioned Jesus because of an Easter tradition there, which seems impotent. Just before the Invasion I mentioned the new FEBC Ukraine outpost(?) to her. She was born the same time the SovUnion disbanded.
May she and the Ukrainians hear and understand, be born again, and filled with the Holy Spirit!

Amen, Stephen, thanks for sharing.
I thank God for each broadcaster and technician and worker in Ukraine and those outside beaming in. I pray daily for the women and children who have to flee and the elderly and for those ones who have had to stay or chose to stay, and the Lord to sustain them. Thank you FEBC staff for feeding the lambs and sheep and for helping those in great need who have gone through perpetual trauma and still are facing it all….may God sustain you all in return as you lay down your lives to minister to others. may god also divinely protect you as you in turn help others find peace with God, shelter, food or places of refugee or transport.
I tank God for the news of the daughter who is recovering…the one who had morphine but it did not take effect, only prayer and God’s hand of mercy relieved that young daughter of the pain.
May God continue to heal those who can’t obtain medicine and lead each ono to someone who can help them as well in time of danger. When there is no person near to Help, may The Lord’s presence be so close and so powerful that people will testify they felt His presence and heard His words of comfort…Knowing he is the Good Shepherd who cares for His sheep.
May God’s word go forth in triumph accomplishing that which he pleases for every listener. May His promises stand true: ‘he who seeks me will find Me’ and ‘he/she who comes to me I will never cast out.’
Thank you to each one who has heard Gods voice and obeyed the call to help Ukraine at this time of trouble. May Psalm 91 comfort you and all Ukrainians as you shelter under His wings.

I have been a supporter of FEBC for many years
Unfortunately due to serious medical problems costing a lot Iv had to stop (briefly) my giving but my prayers have and will never stop
I consider it a honor to pray for the warriors of FEBC and their commitment to Christ
Many blessings to each of you

Your support and prayers are so appreciated, Wendy. Thanks for being a prayer warrior for FEBC for years!
It is with joy and thankfulness that — although past 98 years of age — my mind continues to be fairly functionable and my medical expenses minimal, so that I am able to invest regularly in FEBC’s worldwide labor of love (both in the form of intercession, thanksgiving and a small monthly financial contribution).
