On a recent visit to a village in the Kratie province of Cambodia, local staff helped start a new Bible study group with 10 members who are using speaker boxes to learn about the Bible.
The programs, which are loaded onto Gospel speaker boxes, are a new initiative by FEBC Cambodia that takes listeners through the Old Testament and into the New Testament, to fully understand how God’s promises were fulfilled through Christ’s coming.
In addition to this new program, the FEBC Cambodia team also traveled to Tbong Khmum Province to follow up with listeners of their “Family Strength Program” which teaches Biblical family values.
There were around 33 listeners in attendance, and through their feedback it’s clear that the family skills programs they are listening to have reduced problematic behaviors, alcohol and drug abuse in children, and have taught parents to be more attentive and effective at parenting.
